Mammogram Poem Update.Views: 551

I just had to share the letter that I received for the Mammosite People. I posted the We-site for you to check out.

Hi Sharon,

Your poem is great! Thank you for remembering to send it to me.

I’m forwarding it to Jaimie Gray, the Voices of MammoSite Coordinator. I know she will want to put it on the website! Jaimie will be in touch with you soon to talk more about it.

By the way, I love what you said – “We need to take care of each other.”

I tell everyone about MammoSite now. You and all the wonderful women I met really inspired me.

We need to make sure all women know they have the option for a much easier radiation treatment if they find cancer early – and hopefully, that will inspire more women to get regular mammograms.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Sherri – Nice to hear from you! You are so right. We must take care of each other. It sounds like you are doing great – good news. I too am a grandmother, but only one grandchild :( Our younger daughter, 29 years and married four years to a great guy, they’ve decided kids are too much work. But I’m praying – the Lord can do anything! :) He will see you through this. Hang in there! You’ll look back on it, (As I did.), and say it wasn’t fun, but it’s over and I made it this far!
Karen

Thanks Karen for the come back.

Sherri
