What I have been up toViews: 94

I know this has nothing to do with Cancer, but I wanted to share, what I have been up to.

Let see, I went to my grandson’s graduation from High School. He is the last of the boys. I still have a Granddaughter, it will be a while for her. I seems it was yesterday the Boys were little and I was their Baby Setter.

This was the start of my 2 week’s
To start my Daughter and I with some friends, went to see Get Smart.
Red Carpet and all. I think Steve Corell(Spelling) looks shorter in person. The Rock looks taller lol
The movie was funny, I am old enough to have watched it on TV you know in the day! LOL

That same week we went to see Jay Lano, it sure is different in person. You don’t have to see all the adds. James Mc Avoy ( Wanted the Movie) was there.
The Next week we went to a pre-view of the movie. what a movie it was.
A long with lunch, or dinner, each time we went out, this was a fun time had by all.

I think I may have to take a vacation just to get some rest.

So now you know what I have been up to.

Sherri

Hi Sherri,
It doesn’t matter if it is about cancer or not. I still like to hear from you.
It sounds like you had a fun time but I understand COMPLETELY about you needing a vacation to rest up. That is the way I feel if I go or do anything much. It is a task with me just to get dressed and get out. My daughter insisted I go with her out to lunch today. I asked her if she couldn’t bring me something back but she wouldn’t hear of it so I had to go. She said I needed to get out. I didn’t agree but I went with just to please her. It is so nice and comfy and cool at home. This hot weather really takes a toll on me.
I know what you mean about your grandchildren, also. I still have 3 boys and 1 girl to graduate but they are all growing up so fast. Time is just slipping away.
Do this more often so I will know what you are up to. Have a good night.
Hugs,
Joyce

Its never all about cancer! Its about life! And it sounds like you’re living it up. =o) I always need a vacation after a vacation. I slept all day yesterday after my party Saturday!

Hey Sherri,
It’s great to hear about the fun stuff in our lives along with the struggles Sounds like you had fun way to go…...

I will also post the photo on my photo page.

Have a great day!

Good to hear you’re having some fun! I never know what to post about anymore since I’m not in treatment at the moment, so everyone is right – it’s nice to just read about regular stuff sometimes – especially since yours seems so full of LIFE! Thanks for all of your encouraging words…
SB

Thanks for all the comments. I am so blessed to have a wonderful family. My Daughter and her friends treat me like one of the girls. I know sometimes Chiladults ( a new word i found in a book) Feel that you may not be interested in what goes on in their life.

I think the 3 weeks that I was with them was wonderful and I love them for it.

One of the girls is writing a Book on what they have done together, I am looking forward to reading soon.

I would like to hear about what is going on other than Treatment and Cancer. It seems it is all we think about and read and talk about. I understand this is all part of the support here on the web-site. I know there has been some wonderful stories of life in general. So please share them with us. You can post on the Main blog page.

Thank you very much for your comment. You are right, cancer happens to good people. It’s good to hear you’re having a lot of fun! Please keep in touch.
